Our Story

Elev8 grew from Coach Chico's lifelong passion for table tennis and a shared vision to create a club that brings people together through movement, learning, and community.

After years of coaching, producing online training content, and helping players of all levels improve, Chico and Kathleen saw an opportunity to build something Milwaukee does not yet have: a modern table tennis club designed for every level of player.

Meet Coach Chico.

Elev8 Table Tennis is led by Francisco Brito, better known as Coach Chico. His life has been shaped by table tennis. With decades of playing and coaching experience in Brazil and the United States, Coach Chico brings deep technical knowledge, positive energy, and a passion for helping players improve.

Chico’s goal is to make high-quality table tennis instruction more accessible to players in Milwaukee and around the world. He is working hard to accomplish this goal through his in-person coaching at Elev8, the Chico Table Tennis YouTube channel, and by creating lessons on the Elev8 Online Academy.

Meet Kathleen

Behind the scenes, Kathleen helps shape the member experience, communications, programming, operations, and community partnerships. Together, Chico and Kathleen are building Elev8 as both a serious training space and a well-organized, welcoming club.

Local Club, Global Training

Milwaukee is our home base, but Elev8 is also connected to players around the world through the Online Academy and Coach Chico’s digital training content. The goal is to create one connected learning experience: local players can train in person, and online students can continue improving from wherever they are.
